CSG Midwest leadership program to be held October 1-5 in Minneapolis

A bipartisan group of state legislators from the Midwest has been selected to take part in a one-of-a-kind leadership program — the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD).

The program will be held Oct. 1-5 Minneapolis, marking the 26th year in which CSG Midwest’s Midwestern Legislative Conference has offered leadership training to its members: legislators from 11 states in this region as well as from the MLC’s four Canadian provincial members and affiliates.

BILLD is designed for legislators in their first four years of service.  More than 110 lawmakers applied for a BILLD fellowship this year. Selections were made in June by the BILLD Steering Committee, a bipartisan group of legislators from all 11 Midwestern states.
