GLLC Web Meeting: U.S. Federal Great Lakes Policy

Join the GLLC to hear an update on U.S. Federal Great Lakes Policy. Chad Lord, policy director for the Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition and senior director with the National Parks Conservation Association, will give a presentation on the latest developments in Washington, D.C.

Several critical issues are before U.S. Congress right now: reauthorization of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, a new farm bill and potential new opportunities related to conservation and controlling nutrient pollution, measures to address in harmful algal blooms in the Great Lakes, and more.

Following the presentation, GLLC officers will provide a report to the membership on Executive Committee activities.
