A completed BILLD application requires ALL the following components to be submitted no later than April 15. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.

1. Application form
2. Current resume/bio, limited to two, typed pages. See guidelines here.*
3. Essay, describing your qualifications for receiving a BILLD Fellowship. Your essay must be limited to two typed pages, and must address the four questions outlined here. *
4. Two letters of recommendation from state legislative colleagues and/or graduates of the Bowhay Institute. Please note that members of the BILLD Steering Committee are not permitted to write letters of recommendation. Download this BILLD information form to provide to those writing your letters. (Note: the form is optional and does not need to be returned with your application. It is simply to provide information about BILLD to those writing letters.)
