The COVID-19 pandemic shed new light on the struggles that working parents face in finding reliable and affordable child care – a situation exacerbated by ongoing worker shortages and care facilities that have permanently shut their doors in recent months. This virtual event explored the child care crisis, the impact it is having on jobs and the economy, and potential solutions to helping the region’s working parents have access to reliable and affordable child care.
