Intersection of Criminal Justice and Mental Health: Policy Tools to Improve Responses and Outcomes [Webinar]

Open to all, this webinar gave participants the opportunity to explore innovative strategies and programs to improve responses for people with mental health needs in the criminal justice system.

It featured work being done in this policy area by the CSG Justice Center, as well as innovations in the 11-state Midwest. The webinar was as part of The Council of State Governments’ ongoing support of two interstate legislative committees of the Midwestern Legislative Conference: the MLC Criminal Justice & Public Safety and Health & Human Services committees.
