Six Policy Committees Will Kick Off the MLC Annual Meeting

On the first day of the Midwestern Legislative Conference Annual Meeting, the six interstate, binational and bipartisan policy committees of the MLC will meet and offer programming for all attendees. These Aug. 30 sessions kick off the four days of learning, collaboration and relationship building offered to legislators and others who attend the MLC Annual Meeting, which is being held in Minnesota’s capital city of Saint Paul.

The six policy committees are made up of legislators from the U.S. states and Canadian provinces that are part of the The Council of State Governments’ Midwestern Legislative Conference. They offer programming, support and resources for legislators throughout the year, and always meet in conjunction with the MLC Annual Meeting. All meeting attendees are encouraged to take part in these committee meetings, which will feature expert presentations and time for discussion among participating legislators.
