MLC Education & Workforce Committee: 2025-26 Biennium Kickoff Webinar
Open to all legislators, legislative staff and interested others, this webinar of the Midwestern Legislative Conference Education & Workforce Committee will allow participants to share noteworthy developments on issues related to education and workforce policy and will include a featured presentation by the Urban Institute on a valuable new resource for policymakers. Committee members also will have the opportunity to share ideas on the committee’s upcoming work over the biennium.
The MLC Education & Workforce Committee provides a forum for legislators to learn from and collaborate with one another, as well as highly regarded policy experts, on a myriad of education and workforce topics. One emphasis is on policies to improve the school-to-career pipeline, a goal of the Urban Institute’s new Education-to-Workforce Framework Data Tool. This tool displays success indicators through interactive data across geographies and years — allowing communities to explore measures of success and challenges across the education-to-workforce pipeline.
