Resecuring Midwest U.S.-Canada Trade and Supply Chains in a Time of Changing Geopolitics
Co-hosted by the MLC Economic Development Committee and the MLC Midwest-Canada Relations Committee
The relationship between the United States and Canada, and the Midwest and Canada more specifically, is at a critical juncture. In the one and a half years since the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) took effect, several months after the COVID-19 border closures ended, and just a few months after a summit of North American leaders, we have seen how vitally important this relationship is to the Midwest’s economic health. This webinar explored how these recent events have affected, and will affect, the two countries’ trade, supply chains, and economic development.
