State of the Ag Economy: Challenges and Opportunities for Agricultural Businesses (Webinar)

Led by The Council of State Governments’ Midwestern Legislative Conference Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee, this webinar focused on the current economic pressures on agricultural businesses, big and small.

Topics included the farm economy, U.S.-Canada agricultural relations and trade, labor needs, and the future of global trade. The webinar’s featured speaker is Dr. Chad Hart, a professor of economics at Iowa State University and a renowned expert on agricultural economics.

Following the presentation and Q & A session, committee members and other participants discussed additional topics of concern in an open and collaborative setting.
