Victim Services Funding: State Solutions Amid Federal VOCA Uncertainty (Webinar)

This webinar helped state leaders understand how they can prepare for uncertainty and maintain crime-victim services even if federal funding, via the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), drops.

VOCA is a vital source of funding for people and communities affected by violent crime. While states are receiving more VOCA funding in fiscal year 2025 than in 2024, questions remain about whether this funding is enough — and about the future of VOCA.
