This first of a two-part criminal justice & police reform webinar — hosted by the Midwestern Legislative Conference Social Justice Forum — included a broad overview of racial inequities in the criminal justice arena, including disparate impacts and outcomes and the overrepresentation of racial minorities in corrections systems. The program included a look at evidence-based “best practices” and promising state efforts to alleviate inequities throughout our justice system.
