Derek serves as CSG Midwest’s lead staff person for the Midwestern Legislative Conference Education and Workforce Development. He also is the office’s staff liaison for the states of Indiana and Iowa. Derek holds a bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education from Bradley University, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Kansas State University, and a master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
