Farm To School: State Policies That Can Grow Local Markets, Empower Communities
A webinar hosted by the Midwestern Legislative Conference Agriculture & Natural Resources and Education committees.
In this webinar, participants heard from national experts on farm-to-school strategies and learned about promising, innovative programs being implemented by states. The goals of these farm-to-school programs include expanding markets for state agricultural producers; getting more fresh, healthy food in school cafeterias; and exposing young people to new foods and local agricultural production.
